Minimal Run
Browser game – developed with AI
A game as a calling card
CUBE4DEV gives Minimal Run away: players install nothing and sign up nowhere – a link is enough. Between rounds, short cards lead to our own pages: the works of CUBE4ARTS, the spaces of CUBE4DEV, the films of cube4video and the case studies of unternehmeravantgarde. A game people like to pass on becomes a path to our own work.
An example of developing with AI
Minimal Run was built with AI within a few days – from the first world to the version in seven languages. AI sped up the game mechanics, twelve worlds and their transitions, the cameras, controls for three kinds of device and the translations. Experience made the decisions: how the game feels, which shapes work, when the camera has to stay calm – and that it runs everywhere, instantly.
It comes from art
The worlds come from Tobias Post’s Minimal series – cube cities, rings and grids that exist as films and prints in the CUBE4ARTS studio.
