Minimal Outpost

You look down on your character, and the world turns with you: wherever you walk is always up. Up close you fight with the energy blade, further away your drone shoots. The enemies are androids, drones and mechs.

Every mission leads over a walkway, a facility and a hall to the finale. Step into the ring of an energy node and hold it until it is online. Cables on the floor show the way to the gate, and the nodes raise new levels from the depths.

It runs right in your browser: no download, no app, no sign-up. The game speaks seven languages. The moons are recoloured pieces of real landscapes: the Colorado Plateau, glaciers in New Zealand and Alaska, volcanoes in Iceland, Java and Hawaii, based on map data from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) and elevation data.

• Arrows move, and the world turns with you.
• Space attacks: the blade up close, the drone shoots further away. Hold for a combo or continuous fire.
• Shift rolls: briefly invulnerable, and the roll carries you over narrow gaps.
• F triggers the shockwave once the ring is full.
• Activate a node: step into the ring and hold it. Nearby enemies disrupt it.
• The gate opens when the room is clear and all nodes are online.
• Along the way you choose upgrades: new weapons, more rolls, another heart.
• At the end a boss is waiting: the Siege Mech on the moons, the Ring Reactor on the station.
